5. The dimensions of a trench are 6 m, 3 m, and 4.5 m. Find the cost of digging it at Rs 2.50 per cubic meter.

II Answer 3 of the following: (3 x 5= 15 m)

6. The length of a garden is 250 m and breadth is 200 m. A trench was dug around it outside. The width is 2 ½ m and depth 2 m. The earth dug out was spread out uniformly over it. Find the rise in level of the garden.

7. The cross section of a canal is trapezium with width of top 10 m and width at bottom
6 m with depth 5 m. The flow of water in the canal is 5 km/1 hr. Find the flow of water in kiloliters/1 hr.

8. If x = 1+ log _a bc, y = 1 + log _b ca, z = 1+ log _c ab. P.T. xy + yz +zx = xyz.

9. If a ^x = b^y = c^z and y² = xz, P. T. log _c b = log _b a.

10. P. T. 7 log 16 + 5 log 25 + 3 log 81 = log 2.
